Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call. EMR: Epic. Setting: Outpatient & inpatient. Privileges: Required. Stroke-certified: No. Patients per shift: Variable. Beds: N/A. Trauma Level: 1.
Practice Requirements: PA or IMLC license. BC/BE required. Fellowship required. ACLS, ATLS, BLS, ABLS, and PALS required. Credentialing: 10 days.
Call: Beeper. On-call 7a-7a with up to 4 hrs daily rounding.
Other Details: Call coverage Dec 24-29, Jan 20 & 22, Mar 17, Apr 22. No in-house call required. On-call OB handles: prior C-section in labor, antepartum rounding (if no MFM), and CNM/ED consults. Average callback ≤6 hrs total. CNMs handle epidural deliveries; physician oversees C-sections, D&Cs, laparoscopy, and trials of labor post C-section. Scope includes circumcision, tubal ligation, and OB/GYN surgeries
