Our medical group, Specialized Physicians, is seeking enterprising and entrepreneurial physicians who are interested in disrupting healthcare with a combination of traditional face-to-face practice, digital health, and a commitment to a concierge level of customer service and experience. 


We’re expanding our client-facing business, Specialized Clinic, and looking for physicians who are interested in exploring an alternative practice model that provides flexibility, maximizes income, and empowers physician agency.

The Opportunity / Engagement Models

  • 1) Profit Sharing Partnership Model

    • Key points:

      • Under the Profit Sharing Partnership (PSP) model, physicians directly share in profits.

  • 2) MSO Model

    • Key Points:

      • The physician(s) are the business owners & operators.

      • Our managed services organization (MSO) provides non-clinical centralized services to the practice, e.g. billing/coding, EMR/EHR, HR, IT, marketing, compliance, and facilities management.

  • 3) Employed Model (W2)

    • Position is salaried, with an annual performance bonus.

  • 4) Equity Partnership

    • Key Points

      • Equity Partnership (EP) is considered on a case by case basis.

      • Must be an accredited investor (review SEC criteria).

      • Strong preference for physicians who are going to be practicing at a min. 0.4FTE.

      • Track record of healthcare business management preferred.

The Opportunity / Revenue Streams

(1) FFS - fee-for-service medical services are billed to private payers and Medicare.

Ancillary services - request business pro forma for details.

(2) Concierge memberships and Direct-Pay (Cash).

(3) Locum contracts - physicians have first right of refusal on lucrative locum contracts via Specialized Physicians.

Candidate Requirements

BC/BE MD/DO

Entrepreneurial spirit, and mission aligned on disrupting existing sickcare health system with a multifaceted concierge model.

‘Tech-savvy’ - candidate is a digital native, and has a high degree of proficiency in common tech stacks e.g. Google Workspace, ClinicApp, Adobe Acrobat / Adobe Sign, MS Productivity Suites – or at least a willingness to learn (everything’s on YouTube!).
